During our stay, we found the hotel's rooms to be super comfy and the largest ones we had during our Japan trip. They were a brilliant size and very clean, which was refreshing given the limited choice in Takayama. The staff was really nice and helpful, making our experience even better. However, the location was a bit far from the main attractions of Takayama, although it was near the bus station. The dining options were good with international cuisine and a generous selection of dishes, but the facilities lacked storage space for unpacked clothes apart from the coat hangers.
